On May 26, a representative of Nha Trang Bay Management Board said that the unit had planted stakes and stretched ropes about 50m long to temporarily divide the coastline in the Hon Chong - Dang Tat sea area to protect coral reefs and nearshore seagrass beds (location from Hon Chong beach to the sea area opposite Cu Chi street).

The rope-laying was carried out from 4pm to 6pm from May 26 to 29, because these days are the last and first days of the lunar month, the tide recedes to reveal coral reefs and seagrass beds. At the same time, from 4pm to 6pm, many people and tourists go swimming and often wade far away to catch snails and have fun, affecting the recovery of coral reefs. Therefore, the temporary rope-laying during this time is to limit human impact on corals and seagrass beds.

It is known that for the Project "Installing buoys to divide the sea area of Hon Mun, Hon Chong, Dang Tat" at sea, currently, Nha Trang Bay Management Board has completed the documents after collecting comments from related units to submit to Nha Trang City People's Committee for approval.
