This activity is part of the program to bring Vietnamese revolutionary cinema to youth union members, initiated by the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the desire to spread passion and love for Vietnamese cinema in general and Vietnamese revolutionary films in particular, as well as to promote the education of revolutionary ideals for youth union members.

The film "The Scent of Burning Grass" is a Vietnamese film directed by Nguyen Huu Muoi, with a screenplay written by poet Hoang Nhuan Cam, released in 2012. "The Scent of Burning Grass" is not only a story about war, but also a celebration of love, humanity, and the extraordinary spiritual strength of the Vietnamese people in the most difficult circumstances.

The film is not only a tribute to moral values ​​and patriotism, but also a reminder of each individual's responsibility towards history and the future of the nation." clan".

The program included a screening of the film "The Scent of Burning Grass" and a discussion forum between Director Nguyen Huu Muoi; actor and director Le Chi Kien; actor Le Van Thom; actor Nguyen Nang Tung; and youth union members from the two participating units. During the forum, the audience listened to the director's heartfelt sharing, as well as the emotions and thoughts of each actor involved in the film. The film crew passionately recreated the hardships and difficulties of the war with the utmost authenticity. The characters in the film, although from different social classes, shared a common aspiration: to regain independence and freedom for the country. From the film, the theme of "The Everlasting Revolutionary Ideal of Youth" was also actively shared by the youth union members, who expressed their thoughts on the role and responsibility of the younger generation in building and protecting the nation today.

Mr. Tran Van Hieu, Secretary of the Youth Union of the People's Security Academy, said: "The program is a special political activity forum, bringing meaningful values ​​and experiences to the Youth Union members and young people. With its creative format, bringing revolutionary cinema to the Youth Union members and young people, the program is organized to create opportunities for each Youth Union member and young person to enhance their awareness and understanding of history, cultivate patriotism, and express gratitude to the generations of ancestors who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. In particular, the seminar with the theme "The Everlasting Revolutionary Path of Youth" with the participation of special guests, including the director and actors of the film "The Scent of Burning Grass," made a strong impression, contributing to the education of traditions and further nurturing the noble revolutionary ideals of the Youth Union members and young people."
