This activity is part of the program to bring Vietnamese revolutionary cinema to youth union members, initiated by the Youth Union of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the desire to spread passion and love for Vietnamese cinema in general and Vietnamese revolutionary films in particular, as well as to promote the education of revolutionary ideals for youth union members.

The film "The Scent of Burning Grass" is a Vietnamese film directed by Nguyen Huu Muoi, with a screenplay written by poet Hoang Nhuan Cam, released in 2012. "The Scent of Burning Grass" is not only a story about war, but also a celebration of love, humanity, and the extraordinary spiritual strength of the Vietnamese people in the most difficult circumstances.

During the forum, the audience listened to the director's heartfelt sharing, as well as the emotions and thoughts of each actor involved in the film. The film crew passionately recreated the hardships and difficulties of the war with the utmost authenticity. The characters in the film, although from different social classes, shared a common aspiration: to regain independence and freedom for the country. From the film, the theme of "The Everlasting Revolutionary Ideal of Youth" was also actively shared by the youth union members, who expressed their thoughts on the role and responsibility of the younger generation in building and protecting the nation today.
