Professor Tran Van Giau once said that throughout his life he was always troubled by two big questions: Why during the Nguyen Dynasty, only 200 French soldiers could easily take Hanoi citadel and why in 1945, the Communist Party had only about 5,000 members but made a revolution that shook the heavens and the earth? The power of the people or the fate of the country? Professor Tran Van Giau said that he only thought in his heart, but with the feelings of an insider, he believed that, when knowing how to rely on the people, for the people, the leader can multiply the strength of the nation and defeat a brutal enemy, many times stronger than himself. The truth is that simple.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Dung believes that studying Professor Tran Van Giau can draw lessons for the new era.
