The weather will turn cold, with severe cold in the mountainous and midland areas of the North, and severe cold in some highland areas.

The lowest temperature in the North today is only 7 degrees Celsius.

From Ha Tinh to Da Nang city and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places.

Specifically, from last night to the end of today, from Hue City to Da Nang City, the eastern part of Quang Ngai and Dak Lak provinces, the rainfall is generally from 200 - 400mm, in some places over 700mm.

Khanh Hoa area has common rainfall of 100 - 250mm, in some places over 400mm.

Ha Tinh and Quang Tri have average rainfall of 80 - 150mm, with some places over 250mm.

The Central Highlands and the South have moderate rain and thunderstorms, with heavy to very heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
