Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces 2024 - Captain Tran Vinh Chien promotes drug crime prevention

TPO - On the morning of March 21, the Department of Drug Crime Investigation, Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC04) coordinated with Flight 919 to organize a conference to propagate the prevention of harmful effects of drugs among young people, and the prevention of drug-related crimes in the field of air transport and in cyberspace.

The program was attended by more than 200 officers, employees, flight attendants, pilots, and students from Flight Division 919, Flight Attendants, Flight Training Center, and Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

With a visual and vivid propaganda method, in addition to digital data, the PC04 reporters were very creative in bringing to the Conference simulated specimens of traditional drugs and disguised drugs that are almost similar to reality so that aviation officers and employees can promptly report crimes as well as prevent crimes when detecting or suspecting drugs.

Thanks to the useful knowledge at the Conference, the officers, employees, and youth union members of the aviation industry have clearly grasped the unpredictable consequences of drugs on security and order, flight safety, especially on the health, happiness, and future of young people.

After the program, representatives of aviation units and the PC04 working group visited and learned about the work of reforming, educating and helping former drug addicts return to the community at Ward 2 Police Station, Tan Binh District. Here, the group presented gifts to two young people who had made mistakes and now returned to their hometowns to successfully rehabilitate their drug addiction, work hard and honestly, give up drugs and effectively support the work of ensuring security and order in the local area.
