As planned, the opening ceremony of Ha Nam Cultural Tourism Week 2025 with the art program "Brilliant Ha Nam" will take place at 8:10 p.m. on May 10 at the new administrative center square (Nguyen Van Linh street, Lam Ha ward, Phu Ly city), combined with high-altitude fireworks display to serve the people and tourists.
At the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister's decisions recognizing 3 National Treasures and 2 national relics for Ha Nam will be announced and presented.
Nearly 10,000 spectators are expected to attend the program.
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam Mai Thanh Chung said that the Provincial Culture and Tourism Week 2025 is a series of activities to promote tourism "Ha Nam - The world's leading cultural destination", raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in preserving and promoting national cultural identity and natural resources for tourism development.
Cultural, artistic and sports activities help visitors understand more about the lives of local people, while contributing to the protection and development of cultural values in the modern context. In addition, this is also an opportunity to promote tourism and the image of Ha Nam to the whole country and the world.
Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2025 will have activities such as the Opening Ceremony and the art program "Brilliant Ha Nam;" fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); organization of the World Trilathon Cup and the National Trilathon Championship in 2025; conference to promote investment and tourism development in Ha Nam province in 2025; "Brilliant Summer" street carnival in 2025; thematic exhibition "Ha Nam through history" and "Quintessence of Ha Nam antiques," welcoming the success of the Party Congresses at all levels and the 135th anniversary of the establishment of Ha Nam province; Scientific workshop on promoting the value of cultural heritage in the hometown of writer Nam Cao associated with sustainable tourism development on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of writer and martyr Nam Cao (October 29, 1915 - October 29, 2025); workshop on the model of "Developing rural tourism associated with experiencing traditional craft villages in Ha Nam province"...
Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province Nguyen Anh Chuc said that the province determines to develop tourism in a "Green, sustainable and harmonious" manner, based on the foundation of cultural values, people and nature, high-quality human resources and beautiful natural scenery, which is also one of the pillars of the province's economic development.
The organization of the 2025 Culture and Tourism Week and the “Brilliant Ha Nam” Art Program will introduce, promote and attract tourists and investors to the locality; at the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in preserving and promoting national cultural identity and natural resources for tourism development./.
