The cultural and spiritual tourism product combined with live performances will be held at Quan Thanh Temple, one of the famous "Thang Long Tu Tran" in Hanoi. The 90-minute program will be held weekly and is expected to welcome about 100 visitors each time from August, according to the Ba Dinh District People's Committee on May 26.

Inspired by the traditional festival celebrating the day Saint Huyen Thien Tran Vu descended to bless, held annually at the temple, the Tran Vu Bell Night Tour takes visitors back to the past, immersed in the space of folk culture and long-standing beliefs.

The live performances promise to revive memories of a land that "condenses the sacred spirit of the capital". The highlight of the program is the stories associated with Truc Bach silk weaving village, where Trinh court ladies wove brocade for the king, or Ngu Xa bronze casting village with many bronze artifacts of cultural value still preserved at the temple.

The night tour is a product developed by the Ba Dinh District People's Committee and the Management Board of the National Monument of Quan Thanh Temple in collaboration with researchers and travel agencies. In addition to the purpose of preserving and promoting heritage values, the program is expected to promote tourism and economic development in the district.

Tourists experiencing the night tour can also visit and learn about spaces of tea ceremony, calligraphy, bronzeware, ancient costumes; and shop for souvenirs associated with Quan Thanh Temple.

''Tran Vu Bell'' promises to become a new highlight in the journey to explore Hanoi at night - a trend that the capital's tourism industry is aiming for to enhance the experience for visitors, extend their stay and increase spending.

Previously, other night tours in Hanoi that also received attention and love from tourists were Exploring Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Hoa Lo Prison.

In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long and ordered the construction of Quan Thanh Temple to worship the god Tran Vu guarding the north. The temple was built to both suppress evil spirits and use divine power to charm the people, consolidating feudal rule in the new capital.

Over a thousand years, Quan Thanh Temple is now located at the corner of Co Ngu Street (Thanh Nien Street today) and Quan Thanh Street, overlooking West Lake, worshiping the god Huyen Thien Tran Vu. The god has origins in Chinese beliefs and Taoism, and is believed to have the ability to ward off evil spirits and monsters. When introduced to Vietnam, transformed along with the local culture, the god also protects agricultural residents.
