On the afternoon of July 16, the Steering Committee for Waste Prevention and Control (6th Session) and the Special Working Group of the Hanoi People's Committee (8th Session) on removing difficulties and obstacles, effectively supporting businesses, investors, and investment projects in the city held a meeting to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and speed up the progress of investment projects in the area.
Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, Head of the Steering Committee for Waste Prevention and Control and Head of the Special Working Group chaired and delivered a speech at the meeting.

The report at the meeting showed that since its establishment, the Steering Committee has held 5 meetings, reviewed and resolved difficulties for 13 projects and assigned a total of 22 tasks to departments, branches and localities. To date, 11/22 tasks have been completed.
Regarding the results of the implementation of the tasks assigned by the Special Task Force, based on the conclusions of the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee at the meetings, the Task Force has assigned 69 tasks. The results of the implementation to date are as follows, 44/69 tasks have been completed.
At the Conference, representatives of investors and related units reported on the progress and implementation status of the project as well as current difficulties and problems that need to be resolved by the City.

These are: Investment project to build a lake park in the Southwest Urban Area of Hanoi; remove difficulties and obstacles, continue to implement the Sports Center project in Long Bien district (old); consider and resolve difficulties for the Van Phuc fuel station project in Ha Dong ward (formerly Ha Dong district); Investment project to build a housing area for sale in land lots marked C1B and C2A of Van Canh University Urban Area, Van Canh commune, An Khanh commune, Hoai Duc district (old).
At the Conference, members of the Steering Committee and the City's Special Working Group directly answered and resolved current difficulties and problems for investors and related units.

In the spirit of reporting at the meeting, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh requested members of the Steering Committee and Working Group, in which the Department of Finance is the focal point, to quickly review each project to see where the difficulties and problems are so that they can have timely solutions.
“The Department of Finance must complete this review before July 31 to report to the City as well as the Steering Committee and the Working Group to have specific solutions for each project. The City's general guiding principle is to always create the most favorable conditions for businesses, investors as well as related units to speed up progress to complete the project according to the set schedule,” Mr. Tran Sy Thanh emphasized.
