Hanoi requests inspection and handling of violations of "castle" building in Ba Dinh

On November 28, the Office of the Hanoi People's Committee sent a document to the Department of Construction and the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District, conveying the direction of Mr. Duong Duc Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee regarding violations of construction order on Doi Can Street (Doi Can Ward, Ba Dinh District) reported by the press.

Accordingly, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan assigned Ba Dinh District People's Committee to urgently inspect and handle violations (if any) according to authority and regulations of law; report to the City People's Committee in November 2023 (through the Department of Construction for synthesis).

The Hanoi Department of Construction is assigned to monitor, urge and guide the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District to implement according to regulations; synthesize and report to the City People's Committee according to assigned functions and tasks.

Previously, the press reported on the construction of a single-family home near lane 90, Doi Can street (Doi Can ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi) that showed signs of violating construction regulations, causing a stir in public opinion.
