Two medical staff of Tra Tap commune overcame 5km of landslide to successfully deliver a pregnant woman.

DNO - On the morning of October 29, two officers from Tra Tap Commune Health Station braved floodwaters and landslides to successfully deliver a woman at home.

Doctor Tran Van Thu, Director of Nam Tra My Regional Medical Center, informed that on the morning of October 29, doctors Ho Thi Hieu and Bui Xuan Bang of Tra Tap Commune Medical Station (Tra Cang Medical Station) received information that pregnant woman Ho Thi Nhi (21 years old, Mo Lang hamlet, village 5, Tra Tap commune) was in labor.

Because the house is more than 5km from Tra Cang Health Station and the road is eroded, it is raining heavily so the family cannot take the pregnant woman to the health station.

Immediately, doctors Hieu and Bang urgently brought medical equipment and medicine, not afraid of danger, overcoming floods and landslides to Nhi's house to help the mother give birth.

Thanks to that, the mother Ho Thi Nhi successfully gave birth to a baby girl weighing 3.2 kg. Currently, the baby and mother are healthy and are being cared for at home.
