"Dedication" is a television series produced by the People's Public Security Communications Department - People's Public Security Cinema, directed by Tran Ka My, and focusing on political and intelligence themes. The film recreates the silent struggle of the Vietnamese People's Public Security forces in Laos from 1955 to 1977. During this complex period, a man codenamed P1 was assigned by the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security to secretly infiltrate enemy ranks in Laos, risking his own life and family to fulfill his mission.

The film honors the sacrifice, dedication, and loyalty of the intelligence officers of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force during the complex political upheaval in Indochina in the 1960s.

In "Red Rain," actor Phuong Nam played the role of Ta quite impressively – the squad leader of the tenacious 1st squad. A young man of the Thanh Hoa peasant type, gruff, straightforward, but generous and kind... who sacrificed himself at Quang Tri Citadel. Meanwhile, Hua Vi Van played military doctor Le, with some rather haunting scenes in the dark bunker where he had to witness young soldiers being wounded and dying in the harsh conditions of war.

Sharing his thoughts on the role, Hua Wei Wen said it was a huge challenge because memorizing lines was difficult, and delivering them with the poise and professionalism of the character was even harder. Furthermore, the character is fluent in several foreign languages in real life, including English, French, and Lao…

Besides the two aforementioned actors, "Dedication" also features the participation of People's Artist Tran Nhuong, People's Artist Minh Hoa, People's Artist Minh Phuong, Meritorious Artist Ho Phong, Dam Hang, Ngoc Thanh Tam, Tien Loc, and others.

The series "Tận hiến" (Dedication) is scheduled to air in January 2026, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Intelligence Force.
