Hai Duong has 3 people died in traffic accidents

Traffic accidents occurred in the districts of Binh Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach, and the town of Kinh Mon.

Two of the four traffic accidents involving alcohol consumption occurred in Gia Loc and Nam Sach districts. Specifically, the first incident happened at 10 PM on August 31st. At kilometer 5+725 on the North-South arterial road in Thong Kenh commune (Gia Loc district), Mr. NQS, born in 1999, residing in Van Hoi commune (Ninh Giang district), was riding a motorbike (license plate 34K3-0367) from Gia Loc towards Ninh Giang when he collided with a bicycle ridden by Mr. NTV, born in 1989, residing in Quang Nghiep commune (Tu Ky district), who was traveling in the same direction ahead of him. As a result, Mr. S. suffered a traumatic brain injury and subsequently died at home at 9:30 AM on September 1st. Mr. V. sustained head injuries and is currently receiving emergency treatment at Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital. Tests revealed that Mr. S. had alcohol in his system. The accident occurred in the dark, without streetlights.

The second incident occurred at 7:25 PM on August 31st, at kilometer 4+500 on Provincial Road 390 in Nam Trung commune (Nam Sach district). Mr. NVT, born in 1986 and residing in Nam Chinh commune (Nam Sach district), was riding a motorcycle (license plate 34B5-012.59) on Provincial Road 390, heading from Nam Sach town towards Nam Chinh commune. Upon reaching the aforementioned location, he struck Mr. NVC, born in 1959 and residing in Nam Trung commune (Nam Sach district), who was walking across the road. As a result, Mr. C. suffered a traumatic brain injury and was taken to Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment, but later died at home. A breathalyzer test revealed Mr. T.'s blood alcohol concentration was 0.883 mg/l. The victim, Mr. C., had a history of mental illness.

From 0:00 on August 31st to 12:00 on September 1st, the traffic police force of Hai Duong province inspected and handled 640 cases of traffic safety violations, imposing fines totaling over 1.9 billion VND, revoking 194 driver's licenses, and temporarily seizing 177 vehicles. These included 148 cases of drunk driving, 27 cases of speeding, 8 cases of overloading and cargo bed violations, and 269 cases of not wearing helmets…
