The Tourism Week is expected to create a unique cultural space, serving the needs of entertainment, recreation, exchange, art and cuisine enjoyment of the people and tourists.
It is known that this year's Tourism Week will have outstanding activities including: Opening ceremony of Tourism Week and walking street; Hot air balloon performance; Water puppetry; Thai Binh culinary fair and display, promotion of OCOP products; Provincial wrestling; Art program with the theme "The far-reaching sound of Cheo" and special music and dance program to celebrate major holidays.

The highlight of Tourism Week is the pilot operation of a walking street operating in the evenings on weekends, holidays and Tet from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. (winter) and from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. (summer).
The walking street has invested about 7.7 billion VND to build modern and convenient infrastructure, from renovating and upgrading sidewalks, paving, lighting systems, decorative lights, to camera systems and free wifi to serve residents and tourists.
The walking street is well planned with street art performance areas and more than 70 souvenir stalls, specialty cuisine, check-in areas, and cultural and artistic exhibitions, aiming to bring a complete experience to visitors. This is an opportunity to promote the image of the land and people of Thai Binh, friendly, hospitable, rich in identity and on the path of strong development.

An impressive highlight of the walking street is the “Business Avenue” honoring organizations, businesses, and individuals who have contributed to the city’s development. It is known that along the sidewalk paved with natural stone, the logos and names of the honored units are attached in bronze.
