In order to practically celebrate the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023), the Organizing Committee of the Red Project is implementing the multi-sensory exhibition "Red Space" - a space recreating the red historical journey of revolutionary journalism from June 24 to 25.
On the historic day of June 21, 1925, the first issue of the Thanh Nien weekly newspaper was published by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, giving birth to the Vietnamese revolutionary press. The task of the press at that time was to widely disseminate the thoughts and theories of Marxism-Leninism, the spirit of socialism and the revolutionary lines of the Communist Party of Vietnam to the masses. Thanks to the press, the Party's lines and policies and revolutionary advances encouraged and motivated the people's resistance spirit to reach the historic victory in August 1945.
Red Space is an exhibition activity under the framework of Red Project - a non-profit multi-platform journalism project with the mission of honoring and raising awareness of the current generation of young journalists and future generations of journalists about the history of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism. Red Space exhibition brings to the public a multi-sensory historical experience journey including many display areas presented in many different forms. The display areas at the exhibition hope to not only bring interesting and different experiences but also successfully convey the historical values of revolutionary journalism to the public.
