Urgently review and inspect health examination activities involving foreign elements.

Accordingly, on November 8th, the press reported on the chaotic situation regarding health checkups for overseas travel: no receipts, money deposited into personal accounts at Hanoi National University Hospital and Transport Hospital.

Following the above information, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Director of Hanoi National University Hospital and the Director of Transport Hospital to urgently investigate and verify all related incidents and strictly handle any violations (if any).

The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management ( Ministry of Health ) has requested an urgent review and inspection of health examination activities involving foreign elements.

Units urgently review and inspect health examination activities in general and health examinations involving foreign elements in particular at the facility. Along with that, units strengthen the management of health examinations and issuance of health certificates according to relevant legal documents and directives and instructions of competent authorities.

In addition, the Director of Hanoi National University Hospital and the Transport Hospital shall be legally responsible for the examination and issuance of health certificates of the facility; report to the direct management agency and report to the Ministry of Health (Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management) on the progress and results of inspection and verification before November 18, 2024.
