On December 12th, the Women's Economic Development Support Fund (Vinh Long Provincial Women's Union) organized an intensive training course on credit and savings management for 2025 for 100 officials, including Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of the Women's Union in communes and wards.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa, Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Chairperson of the Provincial Women's Union, directly conducted the training.

The training course took place in the communes and wards of An Hoi, Giong Trom, Cho Lach, Phu Tuc, Binh Dai, Phuoc My Trung, Thanh Phu, Ba Tri, and Mo Cay… on December 12, 16, 17, 18, and 19.
Through training, Women's Union officials are equipped with knowledge on standardizing processes, documents, forms, and monitoring credit and savings groups; strengthening risk management skills, handling late payments and overdue debts, and ensuring cash security; and enhancing communication and introducing microfinance loan sources to women members in need.

The Women's Economic Development Support Fund aims to assist poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households, especially vulnerable women, in developing their family economies, creating jobs, increasing income, and improving their quality of life through microfinance programs; thereby contributing to promoting the women's movement and achieving the province's sustainable poverty reduction goals.
