All the songs introduced in the album are classic melodies of Vietnamese revolutionary music , written by talented musicians about the heroic Vietnam People's Army. They are "Vietnamese Soldiers" (Van Cao), "National Defense Corps" (Phan Huynh Dieu), "Forgetting Yourself for the People" (Doan Quang Khai), "Advancing Under the Military Flag" (Doan Nho), "I Still March" (Huy Du, poem by Tran Huu Thung), "Our Army - Heroic Army" (Van An), "Uncle is Marching with Us" (Huy Thuc) and "Singing Forever the Military March" (Diep Minh Tuyen).
These songs are familiar to many music lovers from the melody to the lyrics and can be memorized by heart a few lines. Therefore, when the album is played, the listeners are filled with pride and join Lac Viet in singing the melody of "Our heroic army". This is perhaps the most meaningful thing about this album. The Lac Viet group does not hesitate to choose classic songs, which have been closely associated with many veteran voices of Vietnamese revolutionary music. It is a continuation and the album contributes to the proud overall harmony.

The album “Our Heroic Army” was released in digital version, with good sound quality, recorded and mixed by Duy Thanh Studio. The 8 songs were arranged and mixed by musicians Tran Binh and Dinh Viem with fast, strong, heroic melodies, attracting listeners. Because the 4 members of Lac Viet have all received formal vocal training, their singing and song processing are technical, meticulous and emotional. The group's powerful voices, acappella and chamber music styles also contribute to making the songs' melodies more fresh.
Previously, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, Lac Viet group released the album “I love my Fatherland” to good effect. The 8 songs in the album, besides famous songs, also have new songs, with consistent content expressing love for the homeland.
Lac Viet Group consists of 4 boys: Trung Kiet (leader, tenor), Nguyen Truc (baritone), Hoang Nam (bass) and The Hung (tenor), trained at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. The group is good at many genres of music but is impressive with revolutionary and traditional music. In particular, the application of acappella (music without accompaniment) to traditional music, helping to enhance the voice of each member, making the song more heroic and impressive, is the group's strong point.
Amidst the bustling modern music market and the trend of developing music groups that is no longer popular, Lac Viet group still chooses its own and difficult path. Studying properly, working seriously and singing revolutionary music with pride, Lac Viet creates its own highlight.
