On the morning of January 18th (the 19th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon), at Dong Son Ancient Village (Ham Rong Ward), the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa City organized the "Traditional Tet, Ancient Village" program for the Year of the Snake 2025 with many special activities.

Participating in the program, locals and tourists can experience a traditional Vietnamese Tet market with beautifully decorated, colorful stalls showcasing local specialties such as rice rolls, local rice, and fresh vegetables grown by the locals. They can also participate in engaging folk games and performances imbued with the traditional Tet atmosphere, such as blindfolded pot smashing, stilt walking, cockfighting, throwing the ball, chess, human chess, shuttlecock kicking, tug-of-war, etc.

Here, visitors can also enjoy activities such as "Calligraphers giving auspicious New Year greetings," singing "Ca Tru" (a traditional Vietnamese folk singing style), and playing "Cockfighting." In addition, visitors can explore historical and cultural sites within Ham Rong ward.
Visitors can also take impressive photos with the ancient, moss-covered walls, centuries-old houses, and streets decorated with ceremonial poles and lanterns in Dong Son ancient village.

The "Traditional Tet in Ancient Villages" program for the Spring of the Year of the Snake 2025 is organized with the spirit of inheriting and promoting the beautiful traditional cultural values of the nation, creating a space for fun and experiencing the atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday. This is also an opportunity to promote the historical, cultural, and tourism values of the locality to visitors.
The program runs from January 18th to February 2nd (i.e., from the 19th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon to the 5th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Snake).
