On the morning of March 25, the Border Guard Command of An Giang, Kien Giang, and Dong Thap provinces held a conference to sign a coordination plan in managing and protecting the border in the adjacent areas in 2025.

In 2024, the border management and protection work of the Border Guards of the three provinces achieved many important achievements. The competent authorities and border posts closely coordinated in exchanging information and situations, effectively coordinated in handling incidents occurring in the border areas; strictly maintained security and order, ensured social stability and protected the integrity of the national border.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing good practices, limitations, difficulties, and obstacles in the process of performing tasks (situation exchange, patrolling, controlling, preventing and combating crimes; handling incidents), and recommendations for handling... Continuing to build and sign a 2025 coordination plan is the basis for the three units to coordinate more effectively in performing the task of protecting border sovereignty ; promoting combined strength in dealing with complex situations. The plan includes: Strengthening coordination and information sharing; stepping up patrolling and controlling in adjacent border areas; effectively handling possible situations.
