Loans for job creation are becoming an important driving force for Quang Ngai people to expand production and create sustainable livelihoods. Tens of thousands of workers have had access to preferential loans, contributing to poverty reduction and promoting local economic development.

Thanks to a loan from the Social Policy Bank, Ms. Le Thi Dung's crispy rice with scallion oil facility in Nghia Hanh commune maintains stable production every day with about 100 kg of rice, creating jobs for 10 workers with an income of 6 million VND/month. From a start-up loan of 20 million VND, then increased to 50 million and recently 100 million VND, Ms. Dung has invested in machinery, expanded the workshop and brought the product to meet 3-star OCOP standards.

The loan capital to create jobs in Nghia Hanh commune has helped more than 2,000 workers have stable jobs, with a total outstanding loan of over 130 billion VND. Many young workers have returned to their hometowns to start businesses, forming effective production models, creating more livelihoods for the community.

According to the new regulations, the maximum loan amount is increased to 100 million VND for each employee and 2 billion VND for production and business establishments. Quang Ngai province currently has more than 51,000 employees accessing this capital source, with a total outstanding loan of more than 2,700 billion VND. The transaction system of the Social Policy Bank is maintained in the localities, creating conditions for people to access capital quickly and safely.
