The Real Madrid Foundation – an organization founded by the famous Spanish football club – has returned to Vietnam to continue its vision of developing community football. This time, Real Madrid is collaborating with YKK Vietnam to organize the YKK ASAO children's football training course in Ho Chi Minh City. This is a community football model that has been implemented in many countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Real Madrid coaches will participate in training 300 underprivileged children in Ho Chi Minh City in football.
"By helping underprivileged children access the king of sports , the program is sowing the seeds of big dreams and helping them realize their potential. This not only contributes to creating a confident and dynamic young generation but also builds a solid foundation for the development of Vietnamese football," said YKK Vietnam, the co-organizer of the program.
This meaningful event is aimed at underprivileged children, providing them with a fun and memorable experience through football. Approximately 300 children from orphanages and disadvantaged families participated in this course. Here, they had the opportunity to practice football with over 30 Vietnamese coaches.
Notably, three experts from Real Madrid also directly participated, sharing the standard training methods and techniques of the world's leading team. This is also a benefit that the program brings to the community of young football coaches in Vietnam in improving their professional skills.
After the training sessions, the organizers will donate all the footballs and training equipment to non-profit organizations and schools. This action aims to encourage the children to continue pursuing their passion for football and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
