This is the third year PwC has accompanied VYEA as a Knowledge Partner.

Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises is one of the associations with strengths in the network connecting domestic entrepreneurs and enterprises, operating dynamically and pioneering in many areas of the Vietnamese economy . Up to now, the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises has been established in 63/63 provinces and cities and 2 economic groups (Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group), 15 affiliated Clubs according to professions and interests with more than 19,000 members. The member enterprises of the Association are generating annual revenue of over 40 billion USD (contributing more than 10% of the country's GDP) and creating jobs for more than 5 million workers, contributing hundreds of billions of VND to social activities each year.
In the context of economic fluctuations, businesses in Vietnam and the region are facing many opportunities and challenges, requiring continuous change and innovation to adapt to the market and find development directions for the business. According to PwC's 27th Annual Global CEO Survey for Asia Pacific in 2024, CEOs said that macroeconomic fluctuations (21%), inflation (20%) and geopolitical conflicts (18%) are the top risks to their businesses. However, the push of risks makes the need for innovation increasingly greater. Positive change is taking place, many companies are taking steps to innovate and improve operational efficiency.
In Vietnam, when it comes to innovation, the topics of digital transformation and green transformation have received much attention from businesses recently. To be successful, businesses need to build a suitable change roadmap, starting from leadership thinking, strategic orientation to organizational, operational, human and financial aspects. In this journey, the companionship of a reliable knowledge partner will support Vietnamese businesses to access specialized knowledge and a network of experts in many different fields, contributing to the successful development of businesses.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc My, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Young Entrepreneurs and President of the Successor Entrepreneurs Club, said: “The Vietnam Association of Young Entrepreneurs is well aware of the important role of ESG in creating a sustainable and prosperous economy for future generations. This is not only a global trend but also a key factor in enhancing competitiveness, attracting investment and building a positive image for Vietnamese enterprises. Therefore, in recent times, VYEA has also implemented action programs to promote, support and promote the Vietnamese entrepreneurial community to pioneer the application of ESG in business activities; and is interested in seeking cooperation with reputable organizations and partners with in-depth experience in many fields to propose training programs and support members. I believe that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between VYEA and PwC Vietnam today is a new step in realizing the goal of enhancing the competitiveness of member enterprises of the Association.”
“Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises is one of the associations with strengths in connecting domestic entrepreneurs and businesses. Meanwhile, PwC Vietnam, with its extensive expertise and network of leading experts, wishes to accompany and support Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs in their development journey, from building leadership thinking, to improving management efficiency and solving urgent problems in business operations. This is perhaps the opportunity for the cooperation between PwC Vietnam and Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises over the past 2 years. We hope that the cooperation program between the two sides will be more effective and successful in the future,” said Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong, Deputy General Director, Leader of Private and Family Enterprise Services, PwC Vietnam.
