Completed receiving 12 Ministries' Inspectorate to the Government Inspectorate

(Chinhphu.vn) - The Government Inspectorate has just officially completed the reception of the entire inspection organization of 12 ministries, implementing the Project to rearrange the inspection agency system towards streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency.

On May 7, the Government Inspectorate received 5 more ministerial inspectors including: Inspector of the Ministry of Education and Training , Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Inspector of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Inspector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Inspector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Previously, 7 other ministry inspectors were received, including: Ministry of Justice , Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ethnic Committee, Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Health.

According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Government Inspectorate, the reception includes a total of hundreds of civil servants and inspectors transferred from ministries.

Specifically: 32 officials from the Ministry of Health, 27 from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 18 from the Ministry of Education and Training, along with 82 from the Ministry of Construction, 25 from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and 22 from the Ministry of Justice. At the same time, the Government Inspectorate also received the entire 2025 administrative inspection plan, financial records, assets and equipment.

In addition to the above 12 units, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of National Defense, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Public Security, the Inspectorate of the State Bank, the Inspectorate of Cryptography, the Inspectorate of the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety, the Inspectorate of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Inspectorate of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, and the Inspectorate of the State Securities Commission will maintain their organization and operations.

The inspection agencies of the Department of Judicial Support, the State Treasury, the State Reserves Department, and the Statistics Department will cease operations; no inspection agencies of the Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education will be established. These departments perform specialized inspection functions.

The Government Inspectorate has requested ministries to complete transfer procedures, civil servant records and social insurance closing before May 15. The arrangement of organization, personnel and facilities must be completed before May 30, in accordance with the requirements in the Politburo's conclusion.

The new organizational structure of the Government Inspectorate is expected to include 22 specialized and professional units. This is an important step to improve the quality and efficiency of inspection activities in the current period of administrative reform.
