In addition to tuition fees, every year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities reserves 8% of the total tuition fees as scholarships to encourage students to study. Students with academic and training results of 70 points or higher, without being disciplined at the level of reprimand, will be considered for a scholarship to encourage study for one semester (5 months) at three levels: good, excellent, excellent.
In addition, the school also implements many scholarship programs sponsored by businesses, social organizations and individuals for the school's students.
Scholarship programs exclusively for new students who are valedictorians/salutatorians, new students with high entrance exam scores (priority given to students with difficult circumstances) include:
Asian Development Fund - ADF scholarships (10 scholarships, each worth 1,000 USD), Ho Chi Minh City National University Development Fund scholarships (2 scholarships, each worth 30 million VND), Valedictorian scholarship (1 scholarship, 20 million VND), Kumho Asiana scholarship (7 scholarships, 4.3 million VND/scholarship), Viethope scholarship (28 scholarships, 300 USD/scholarship), Light up the faith scholarship (11 million VND).
This year, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities will enroll 2,300 students, using 6 methods. The new method compared to last year is to consider international language certificates (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, HSK and HSKK, JLPT, TOPIK II) combined with graduation exam scores. To register, candidates must have IELTS 5.5 or higher or equivalent, the total graduation exam score of the two remaining subjects in the group (Literature is required) must be at least 14.
The remaining methods include: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, according to the regulations of Hanoi National University, considering international certificates, considering capacity assessment test scores, considering 2024 high school graduation exam scores.
