According to the previous announcement of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs ), on the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers are given one day off and receive full salary according to their labor contracts on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month.
This year, Hung King’s Commemoration Day falls on Monday (April 7), the first working day of the week. Therefore, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers who work on Saturday and Sunday will have 3 consecutive days off, from April 5 to April 7.
On the occasion of April 30 - May 1, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers will have 5 consecutive days off, from Wednesday (April 30) to Sunday (May 4). To have this continuous holiday, workers will make up for it on Saturday, April 26.
For students, the holiday schedule usually follows the school year schedule issued by the Ministry of Education and Training . Students get 1 day off for the Hung Kings Commemoration Day (April 7) and 5 consecutive days off for the April 30-May 1 holidays (April 30-May 4).

According to the 2024-2025 school year schedule issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, schools will finish semester 1 before January 18, 2025, complete the program and end the school year before May 31, 2025.

Complete enrollment for first grade classes before July 31, 2025.
The 2025 high school graduation exam is scheduled to take place on June 26 and 27, 2025.
