Tri Ton District Veterans Association hands over houses to members in difficult circumstances

On April 17, the Tri Ton District Veterans Association organized the handover of the "Veterans' Gratitude" house to veteran Le Van Trung (residing in An Hoa "A" hamlet, Ba Chuc town).

After nearly 2 months of construction, the “Veteran Gratitude” house was completed with a usable area of ​​54m2 , ensuring “3 hard”, with walls, corrugated iron roof and ceiling with laphong, ceramic tile floor; including: 1 living room, 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen and hygienic toilet; total construction cost 65 million VND. Of which, An Giang Stone Exploitation and Processing Company Limited supported 40 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.

The Standing Committee of the Tri Ton District Veterans Association and the Ba Chuc Town government hope that the new house will be a source of encouragement for veteran Le Van Trung and his family to strive to escape poverty sustainably and stabilize their lives. At the same time, he will be exemplary in complying with and strictly implementing the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.
