One of the recent outstanding activities is the program "Spreading love, lighting up faith" organized by the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association in coordination with the Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans in early September 2025. At the program, dozens of scholarships, gifts, and bicycles were awarded to disabled and orphaned students in the province. Nguyen Thi Thuong (student of grade 7A, Hai Hoa Secondary School, Mong Cai 1 Ward) is an orphan, currently living with her grandparents in poor conditions, but always strives to excel in her studies. Receiving a scholarship and sponsorship from the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, Thuong emotionally shared: "The attention of benefactors helps me have the opportunity to go to school. I promise to study well to become a useful person for society in the future."
Thuong is one of 10 students sponsored by the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association in the 2025-2026 school year (VND 12 million/student). Mr. Khuc Dinh Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, shared: “This activity is not simply a gift-giving event, but also an opportunity to share, listen and give more confidence to students in special circumstances. Although the children are orphans, disabled, and live in difficult circumstances, they still strive to study; that is the inspiration for us."
Over the years, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association has implemented many charity programs targeting vulnerable groups in society. In 2022, the Association coordinated with the Provincial Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims to issue a resolution on regular support for 20 victims of Agent Orange in difficult circumstances (VND 500,000/victim/month) for 3 years, to help them have more conditions to treat their illnesses and stabilize their lives. After 3 years of implementation, the Association has carried out 6 support rounds, with a total amount of VND 360 million, demonstrating the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude".
When storm Yagi (September 2024) caused heavy damage in Thang Loi commune (Van Don district, now Van Don special economic zone), the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association promptly supported 100 million VND to 2 households whose houses were completely collapsed; presented 840 HDPE plastic buoys, worth 445 million VND, to 21 affected aquaculture households; supported 200 million VND to households in Ban Sen commune to purchase fishing gear and restore production.
In 2024, the total value of social and charitable activities carried out by the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association was more than 1.2 billion VND. In the first 6 months of 2025, the Association continued to implement many meaningful programs, such as: Sponsoring orphaned and disabled students, building houses for poor households, supporting humanitarian funds, with a total value of 362 million VND.
Promoting the pioneering role of the business community in the new era, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association has continuously expanded its community activities, demonstrating social responsibility in a practical and effective way. In the coming time, the Association will continue to accompany the province in social security work, supporting the disadvantaged, contributing to building a sustainable, humane and prosperous community.
