Nghe An Province Martyrs' Families Support Association offers incense at Nghe Tinh Soviet Relic Site

On the morning of September 12, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Nghe Tinh Soviet Relic Site in Hung Nguyen commune, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Day (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2025).

The delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the graves and memorial stele.

Nearly 95 years ago, on September 12, 1930, the demonstration of 8,000 farmers in Hung Nguyen district was suppressed by the French colonialists using heavy weapons, killing 217 people and injuring 125 others... The demonstration on September 12, 1930 has gone down in history as an immortal heroic epic of the people of Nghe Tinh in the 1930-1931 revolutionary movement.

In front of the heroic martyrs, the members of the delegation promised that in the coming time, they will continue to inherit and promote the glorious revolutionary tradition of previous generations; strengthen connections and mobilize social resources to build an increasingly strong Association; provide practical support to martyrs' families in implementing policies, building houses, searching for information about martyrs whose identities are still unknown... contributing worthily to the nation's sacred cause of "repaying gratitude".

On the same morning, the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh on his death anniversary at Ho Chi Minh Square.
