The objective of the Project is to support the organization of the Kate Festival in the direction of gradually increasing the scale of organization in the coming time; building the festival into a typical cultural - tourism product organized annually, meeting the religious and belief needs as well as improving the spiritual and cultural life of the Cham people, contributing to the construction, socio -economic development and tourism of Ninh Thuan province, preserving and promoting the national cultural identity. The expansion of scale is based on closely following the purpose, meaning and content of the festival organization. The organization must combine the voluntary participation of the festival's host community; the support of the State, all levels, sectors and all classes of people. The Project is implemented from 2025 to 2030, then summarized and evaluated to propose implementation content in the next phase.
Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee spoke at the conference.
At the conference, delegates gave comments and feedback on a number of issues: It is necessary to clarify the goals, tasks, and solutions to elevate the Kate Festival to the new stage; consider clarifying the state budget to support the festival; review some words and locations in the document for accuracy; ensure harmony between preserving and promoting festival values associated with tourism development; supplement the role of the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in organizing and implementing the festival; clearly state the scale of festival expansion in the coming time...
Delegates participated in giving comments and criticism on the draft.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee agreed with the content and highly appreciated the quality of the draft Project. In order to achieve the Project's objectives of promoting the value of the Kate Festival associated with tourism development, the drafting agency needs to consider, research, develop, and revise the layout, content, and resources to effectively implement the Project in the coming time.
