The 2024 Land Law, effective from January 1, 2025, comprises 16 chapters and 260 articles regulating the rights and responsibilities of the State, the rights and obligations of citizens regarding land; procedures for leasing, allocating, and using land; compensation, support, and resettlement when the State reclaims land... At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on the amendments and additions to the law, reflected in many new points that address the shortcomings and limitations of the 2013 Land Law. They also proposed that the drafting agency incorporate and rearrange the structure of the chapters, articles, and groups of issues appropriately, avoiding duplication before the law is enacted and implemented.
