Conference on propaganda, dissemination and training on the implementation of the 2024 Land Law

At the conference, the Deputy Director of the Land Department disseminated the important contents and new points of the 2024 Land Law. The law consists of 16 chapters and 260 articles; of which, 180 articles have been amended and supplemented, and 78 articles have been newly added, with many outstanding new points. Specifically, these include: abolishing the land price framework, stipulating 4 methods for determining land prices; adding more cases for exemption and reduction of land use fees; diversifying forms of compensation for people whose land is confiscated; adding support for people whose land is confiscated; expanding land use rights for Vietnamese people residing abroad; expanding the limit on receiving the transfer of agricultural land use rights by individuals; amending the method of determining taxable income from real estate transfers, etc.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The 2024 Land Law is an important law that has a positive impact on people, businesses, and all aspects of economic , cultural, social, national defense, and security life, meeting the requirements for the comprehensive improvement of policies and laws on land management and use.

Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

Through this conference, the aim is to raise awareness and improve the effectiveness of land law implementation in the province, minimizing violations and complaints related to land issues. To ensure the 2024 Land Law is put into practice soon, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue to research, organize implementation, and widely disseminate the contents of the Law to officials, civil servants, and the general public. In addition, they should promptly advise the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee to issue detailed regulations for the implementation of the Law, specifically assigning responsibility to each unit to create a complete, unified, and consistent legal framework for timely and effective implementation.
