Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association continues to innovate and improve the quality of organization and activities.

The Executive Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association, term 2020 - 2025, elected by the 7th Provincial Journalists Association Congress for term 2020 - 2025, consists of 8 members, with 1 member missing. During the past half term, the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Association have not had any changes in personnel, only 1 member missing according to the structure.

Based on the functions and tasks of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association and the requirements for innovation and improvement of the quality of organization and operation of the Journalists Association in the new period, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association unanimously nominated journalist Nguyen Thi Viet Thanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Arts and Topics, Quang Tri Radio and Television Station, Head of the Quang Tri Provincial Women Journalists Club to join the Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Journalists Association, term VII, 2020 - 2025.

At the conference, on behalf of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Truong Duc Minh Tu presented Decision No. 222/QD - HNBVN on the reorganization of the Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Journalists Association, recognizing comrade Nguyen Thi Viet Thanh as a member of the Executive Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, term VII, 2020 - 2025.

Within the framework of the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Truong Duc Minh Tu also awarded membership cards of the Vietnam Journalists Association to 17 journalists and members working at press agencies in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu congratulated journalist Nguyen Thi Viet Thanh as well as 17 new members of the Vietnam Journalists Association. He hoped that journalist Nguyen Thi Viet Thanh and the members would promote their professional spirit, actively participate in journalistic activities, build an increasingly developed press agency, and successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party and the People.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association Truong Duc Minh Tu awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the association's work in 2022.
