Scientific workshop on protecting the Party's ideological foundation

On the afternoon of August 16, at Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School (Minh Thanh Ward, Quang Yen Town), the Provincial Steering Committee 35 organized a scientific workshop on "Promoting the role of the teaching staff of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School and district-level political centers in protecting the Party's ideological foundation".

At the workshop, delegates discussed and presented their opinions on a number of main contents such as: The challenges posed by the 4.0 Revolution to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against current erroneous and hostile views; the role, responsibility and promoting the strengths of political theory lecturers in the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation; the necessity of innovating the content and methods of teaching political theory to meet the requirements and tasks of protecting the Party's ideological foundation...

Associate Professor, Dr. Do Canh Thin, Deputy Director of the Institute of Non-Traditional Security, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, presented a paper at the workshop.

The workshop also discussed and clarified a number of issues regarding the tasks for political theory lecturers in ensuring ideological security; shared experiences in integrating the protection of ideological foundations into teaching the subject of State and Law, the program to foster awareness of the Party and the program to foster political theory for cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and grassroots organizations; ensured Party spirit, scientific spirit, and combative spirit in teaching the subject of State administrative management...

Delegates and experts participated in contributing their opinions on the issue of promoting the role of political theory lecturers in protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Also within the framework of the workshop, delegates participated in discussions, exchanged and clarified a number of key issues to promote the role of the teaching staff of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School and district-level political centers in protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 35, emphasized: The workshop is an official forum for scientists, Party committees at all levels, Steering Committee 35 at all levels, especially the team of political theory lecturers to study and have a comprehensive view of theoretical and practical issues; clarify advantages, point out limitations, analyze causes and share experiences on promoting the role of the team of political theory lecturers in protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Duong, Standing Committee Member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of 35 provinces delivered a concluding speech at the workshop.

The presentations and opinions at the Workshop will be valuable materials for the teaching staff of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School, district-level political centers and Party committees, Steering Committee 35 at all levels, agencies and units to study, apply and absorb to perfect the content and methods of leadership, direction and implementation of tasks to protect the Party's ideological foundation. Thereby contributing to building and rectifying the Party and a clean and strong political system; improving the leadership and governing capacity of the Party, meeting the requirements and tasks of the cause of national construction and innovation.
