Competition to learn about legal policies on preventing and combating corruption and negativity

On November 8, the Provincial People's Committee organized a contest to learn about legal policies on preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Attending were comrades: Lam Dong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of relevant departments and branches.

After nearly 5 months of implementing Plan No. 2676/KH-UBND, dated June 18, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee, the Organizing Committee of the contest successfully organized the online contest "Learning about Party regulations and laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity" in 2024, with 17,463 participants with 6,645 people.

The contest is divided into 3 qualifying rounds: For commune level, the contest is held online on the website for popularizing and educating the law of Ninh Thuan province. For district and city levels, a separate contest is organized and 1 team is formed to participate in the provincial contest. This provincial contest has the participation of 7 teams from 7 districts and cities in the province. The teams go through 3 rounds: Introduction; answering theory and skit.

Speaking at the contest, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the implementation work of the Contest Organizing Committee, the responsible and active coordination of the People's Committees of districts, cities and related agencies and units. He emphasized: The contest is a political activity to disseminate and update knowledge of policies and laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, practically responding to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2024. Creating a forum for exchanging experiences, improving legal knowledge and skills for the team working in disseminating and educating the law.

Thereby, contributing to the propaganda, dissemination and effective implementation of regulations, policies and laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity, contributing to raising awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees, party members and the masses about the position, role and significance of the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity. Promoting the combined strength of the entire political system, enhancing the responsibility of Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Contest Jury to score the contest objectively, fairly and accurately to ensure compliance with the rules; the contest teams must have the right composition, be confident and calm in performing their contests.
