More than 1,185 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods

On November 5, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, many agencies, units, organizations and individuals continued to come directly to donate. Up to this point, the amount of money registered to donate through the account of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has reached over 1,185.62 billion VND.

Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Social Work Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, received support from the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.

Receiving the donation, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Member of the Presidium, Head of the Social Work Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, respectfully thanked the timely and responsible actions of the agencies, organizations and enterprises; at the same time, affirmed that all donations will be transferred to the right recipients, used for the right purposes, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

According to Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, from the amount received, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 4 installments of a total amount of 508,182 billion VND to 19 provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storms No. 10, No. 11, No. 12 and floods, including: Quang Tri province 50.5 billion VND; Thai Nguyen province 45.12 billion VND; Nghe An province 40.5 billion VND; Ha Tinh province 40.5 billion VND; Cao Bang province 35 billion VND; Tuyen Quang province 35 billion VND; Hue city 35 billion VND; Da Nang city 35 billion VND; Lang Son province 30.5 billion VND; Ninh Binh province 25.5 billion VND; Thanh Hoa province 25.5 billion VND; Lao Cai province 25 billion VND; Bac Ninh province 20.062 billion VND; Phu Tho province 20 billion VND; Son La province 15 billion VND; Quang Ngai province 15 billion VND; Hung Yen province 10 billion VND; Hai Phong city 10 billion VND and Dien Bien province 5 billion VND.
