Over 120 million to accompany poor women and children in Ia Chia commune

(GLO)- On June 8, the Women's Union of Cu Chi district ( Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with the Women's Union of Ia Grai district to organize the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in Ia Chia commune.

The program presented more than 100 gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances; presented local pig breeding as a means of livelihood to 5 extremely disadvantaged women's households in the commune. In addition, the delegation presented gifts and interacted with officers and soldiers of Ia Chia Border Guard Station. The total value of the program was more than 120 million VND.
