More than 5,000 people participated in the walk, donating nearly 1.5 billion VND to support the needy.

The first walking program “Joining hands to build a green - civilized - modern - affectionate Binh Trung” attracted more than 5,000 participants. The program not only spread the spirit of sports training and community connection but also mobilized nearly 1.5 billion VND to care for and support households in difficult circumstances in the area.

People responded to the walking program to call for support to care for people in difficulty on the morning of November 8.

On the morning of November 8, at The Global City urban area, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Trung ward, Ho Chi Minh City organized the first walking competition "Joining hands to build a green - civilized - modern - affectionate Binh Trung" in 2025. The event had the participation of more than 5,000 people, including officials, civil servants, youth union members, students, people and representatives of businesses, schools, and neighborhoods in the area.

Not only a sports activity, the competition also conveys the message of raising awareness of preserving the living environment, building a civilized, modern and affectionate lifestyle in the community of Binh Trung ward. The organizing committee awarded groups and individuals with outstanding achievements, recognizing the responsible and enthusiastic participation of the people and forces.

The organizing committee representative presented a symbolic board to people in difficult circumstances.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Trung Ward, said that the program is an opportunity to spread a healthy lifestyle, encourage people to exercise, and at the same time arouse the spirit of sharing and towards social security activities.

At the program, groups, individuals and businesses joined hands to contribute 1.5 billion VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund of Binh Trung ward.

On this occasion, the Entrepreneurs Fund for the Community mobilized more than 1 billion VND to support people in difficult circumstances. From the mobilized resources, the ward presented 100 gifts to poor households, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and practical care for the people.
