HCMC: Nearly 1.5 billion VND to support the "For the Poor" Fund of Binh Trung Ward

On November 8, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Trung ward organized the first walking competition "Joining hands to build a green - civilized - modern - affectionate Binh Trung" in 2025.

The walking competition accompanies and mobilizes businesses to contribute to the Entrepreneurs' Fund to join hands for the community. At the same time, mobilizes agencies, units, cadres, civil servants, employees, workers and people from all walks of life inside and outside Binh Trung ward to contribute to the "For the Poor" Fund to carry out social security activities, join hands for community development. Thereby, contributing to the goal of improving people's quality of life, building a green, clean, beautiful, civilized, modern and affectionate Binh Trung ward.

The contest attracted more than 5,000 cadres, party members, union members, association members and people in the ward to participate.

At the contest, groups, individuals and businesses contributed nearly 1.5 billion VND to support the “For the Poor” Fund. The Entrepreneurs Join Hands for the Community Fund also raised more than 1 billion VND. On this occasion, Binh Trung Ward presented 100 gifts to disadvantaged households.

Within the framework of the contest, Binh Trung ward also launched the ward logo. The logo has a harmonious combination of visual language and symbolic depth, clearly expressing the traditional cultural identity, modern urban appearance and sustainable development aspirations of Binh Trung ward.

The logo is created from typical symbols of urban infrastructure and traditional cultural features of the ward, harmonizing into a unified whole - reflecting the spirit of innovation associated with traditional roots. The logo of Binh Trung ward is not only an identifying image but also an inspirational message, expressing the spirit of innovation, community solidarity and the local aspiration to rise.
