At Song Than station, the atmosphere became urgent and warm as each relief shipment was prepared to leave. The packages were stacked neatly, and the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front staff and volunteers continuously loaded, checked and sealed the goods before transporting. This is the fourth relief shipment deployed since Ho Chi Minh City launched the program to support provinces that suffered heavy damage from storms and floods.

Accordingly, about 70 tons of necessities and essential items such as bottled water, instant noodles, milk, rice, disinfectants, household medicine bags... have been classified, carefully packaged and loaded onto vehicles. Of which, 30 tons of goods were sent to Nghe An province to support households that are trying to overcome the consequences of the flood. The rest were sent to Tuyen Quang and Thai Nguyen, contributing to timely support for people to stabilize their lives.

The small but meaningful gift boxes were labeled with the simple words “Sending a little love…” as a message from the people of Ho Chi Minh City to the flood victims. It was not only material support but also encouragement, spiritual support, demonstrating the tradition of “helping each other” and the spirit of mutual love.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, along with the contributions of organizations, businesses and people of the City, the relief program will continue to be maintained in the coming time. Many units are still registering to support cash, goods, medical supplies, contributing to increasing resources for people to soon overcome difficulties, stabilize production and life. The trucks carrying heavy loads of love from Ho Chi Minh City extend the journey of sharing, continuing to spread the spirit of "Great National Unity". Ho Chi Minh City once again affirms its role as a "city of love", always ready to accompany the whole country in difficult times.
