Ho Chi Minh City transferred 70 tons of relief goods to flood victims.

On October 28, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City transported 70 tons of goods to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods in the Central and Northern regions.

These 70 tons of goods include food, drinks, necessities and essential items, medical equipment, medicine, etc. transported to the Central and Northern provinces, demonstrating the spirit of "for the whole country, with the whole country" and the sharing heart of the people of Ho Chi Minh City.

Of these 70 tons of goods, 30 tons were sent to Nghe An province, the rest were transferred to Tuyen Quang and Thai Nguyen provinces, to promptly support people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after natural disasters and floods.

The boxes are simply inscribed with the words “Sending a little love to the people…”, showing the spirit of sharing food and clothes of the people of the city named after Uncle Ho.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, this is the fourth batch of goods since the city launched the program to receive money and goods to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods.

After launching, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has continuously received support from all walks of life in the city. Currently, many agencies, units, businesses and individuals continue to register to support money, goods and medical supplies, contributing to increasing resources for relief work.
