More than 80 forest rangers and commune-level forestry officers were equipped with professional knowledge on forest allocation and leasing.

On the morning of December 4, in Ha Giang 1 ward, the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection coordinated with the Provincial Forest Protection Department to organize a training course on forest allocation, forest leasing, and conversion of forest use to other purposes. Attending the training course were more than 80 trainees who were officers, civil servants, and employees of the Provincial Forest Protection Department; Regional Forest Protection Departments; forest owners; forestry officers in charge of some communes and wards; and representatives of some forestry companies and enterprises.

Students participate in discussions and raise problems in the process of performing tasks at the facility.

At the training session, the reporters of the Department of Forestry and Forest Protection disseminated the following contents: Procedures for developing annual forest allocation and leasing plans; forest allocation and leasing for unallocated or leased forest areas managed by the Commune People's Committee; Systematizing legal documents regulating the conversion of forest use purposes to other purposes; Regulations on temporary forest use, criteria for projects allowed to convert natural forest use purposes; Regulations on the division of authority of local authorities at 2 levels, decentralization, and decentralization when implementing forest use conversion... At the same time, directly answering the difficulties and problems of units in the implementation process, especially issues related to determining forest origin, forest classification, authority to approve plans as well as handling situations arising in forest management and use.

The training course aims to improve the capacity of local officials, contributing to the effective implementation of forest management, protection and development in the province.
