Hong Linh Ha Tinh recruits former teammate of Keisuke Honda

Hong Linh Ha Tinh recently quickly finalized the list of foreign players before the V-League 2024/2025. After two foreign players with good resumes, Geovano Magno and Noel Mbo, Hong Linh Ha Tinh finalized the third foreign player, center-back Helerson Mateus.

Standing at 1m90 tall, Helerson Mateus grew up at the famous Botafogo training academy in Brazil. The player born in 1997 played alongside famous Japanese player Keisuke Honda in the Botafogo shirt in the 2019/2020 season.

Before coming to Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Helerson Mateus played for Tacuary Club in the Paraguay First Division. Last season, Helerson played a lot with a total of 25 matches for Tacuary Club, scoring 1 goal.

Having played regularly last season, Helerson Mateus was highly rated in terms of performance. The biggest problem is that this player needs to quickly adapt to the football environment in V-League.
