On August 29 in Hanoi , the MV Vinh quang, oi Viet Nam, a new composition by Professor, Doctor - Hero of Labor - musician Nguyen Anh Tri was released to the public after 3 years of preparation. Released on the occasion of National Day September 2, the MV carries a sacred message that arouses the spirit of solidarity, national pride and the aspiration to rise in every Vietnamese person.
Glory, Oh Vietnam has a heroic melody, concise and memorable lyrics, rich in encouragement and spreading strong inspiration. With only 6 verses, the song depicts the image of a resilient, united and proud country. The refrain Pride of our Fatherland – Glory, Oh Vietnam! becomes a call to arms, affirming the strength and glory of the nation.

The song was arranged by musician Tran Thi Phuong Thao - Dang Manh Cuong, directed by Duong Lan Huong, bringing together more than 30 singers and over 1,000 extras: Meritorious Artist To Nga, Meritorious Artist Cam Tu, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, Huyen Trang (Sao Mai), Viet Danh, Le Xuan Hao, Minh Tuan, Dieu Thuy...
The MV was filmed at places rich in historical and cultural significance such as President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Vietnam Military History Museum, Hien Luong Bridge, Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri), Lung Cu Flagpole, Nha Rong Wharf, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music...
The grand scenes with the participation of thousands of people were elaborately staged, depicting the symbol of solidarity and indomitable spirit of the nation. In particular, the image of the parade recreating the heroic atmosphere of history made the MV become an epic in music and images.

Sharing his inspiration for the song, Professor Nguyen Anh Tri said that he wrote the song in less than 30 minutes but it was the result of his love for the Fatherland for many years. Although he composed it quickly, the process of completion was carefully considered down to the smallest detail. Just choosing the word "oi" instead of "oi" in the chorus made him think for many days. According to the author, the word "oi" evokes pride and is like a passionate call to today's and future generations.
Musician Do Hong Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations commented: " Glory, Oh Vietnam is special because it is short, concise, and has a strong influence, in line with the triumphal tradition of revolutionary music. The chorus " Proud of our Fatherland - Glory, Oh Vietnam!" when it rings out can be sung by anyone - that is a great success. The theme of solidarity placed right from the beginning makes the song more concise and full of spirit. This is a worthy work, a proud greeting from the literary and artistic community before the national holiday".
