Opening of Cam Thuy district defense area exercise in 2023

On the morning of August 3, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Defense Area Exercise Steering Committee (KVPT) held the opening ceremony of the Cam Thuy District KVPT exercise in 2023. Attending and directing the exercise was Colonel Le Van Dien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial KVPT Exercise Steering Committee. Also attending were comrades in the Provincial Military Party Standing Committee, members of the Steering Committee and the direction team of the provincial and district KVPT exercise.

Opening ceremony overview.

With the theme "Transferring armed forces to combat readiness states, transferring localities to defense states, organizing preparations and practicing defensive operations", the 2023 Cam Thuy district KVPT exercise goes through 2 parts (mechanism operation and actual combat) and 3 training phases.

Colonel Le Van Dien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Military Exercise Steering Committee delivered the opening speech.

Speaking at the opening of the exercise, Colonel Le Van Dien emphasized: The exercise is an extremely important political task, aiming to improve the leadership capacity of the Party organization, the management and operation efficiency of the government, promote the advisory role of the military, police, departments, branches, unions, political and social organizations in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of national defense and security work, handling emergency situations and defensive operations. At the same time, it is an opportunity to test and foster the level of command organization and coordination between forces in handling national defense and security situations occurring in the area. Test the level of combat training and the ability to complete tasks of the armed forces.

In that spirit, the Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Training Exercise Steering Committee requested that the exercise framework of Cam Thuy district must uphold the sense of responsibility in each exercise position; the exercise must be real, practical, promote collective intelligence associated with the role of individuals, flexibly apply principles and theories suitable to the characteristics, situation and tasks of the locality and of each agency. The exercise contents must ensure absolute secrecy and safety of people, weapons, technical equipment and vehicles.

The Cam Thuy district KVPT exercise took place on August 3 and 4.
