On the evening of September 1, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, at Dong Gung bus station, Tam Coc tourist area (Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu), the Management Board of Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area held the opening ceremony of the Tam Coc Culinary Culture Festival 2024 with the theme "Heritage Flavor - Folk Color".
Many domestic and international tourists and local people attended the opening ceremony.
The special art program at the opening ceremony introduced traditional cultural features such as: Hau Dong, Hat Van, Hat Cheo, Dan Bau solo... with content praising the innovation of the homeland, the country, the beautiful natural scenery of the ancient capital and the cheerful melodies of modern art forms.
Taking place from August 31 to September 2, the Tam Coc 2024 Culinary Culture Festival brings visitors to the traditional folk cultural colors of the Trang An - Ninh Binh Heritage Land with more than 100 culinary booths and traditional craft villages, in addition to more than 200 typical dishes from all regions of the country.
Along with enjoying regional cuisine, visitors can also participate in folk games, experience unique handicraft village stalls; enjoy sword dance and fan dance performances, cultural and artistic programs performed by local people...
The festival is held to honor the cultural and culinary values imbued with the characteristics of Ninh Binh and regional cuisine, creating opportunities for businesses, organizations and individuals to meet, exchange, introduce, display and sell products, specialties, OCOP products, and cuisine of localities inside and outside the province...
