Free cardiovascular disease screening for children

- The Department of Health has just had a plan to provide free screening to detect cardiovascular diseases in children.

The health sector is ready to screen children for cardiovascular disease.

Accordingly, Hanoi Heart Hospital will send a working group of doctors, nurses and medical staff to directly examine, consult and consult on cardiovascular diseases for free for children with congenital heart disease at the Provincial General Hospital. The event will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The subjects are children from 0 to 16 years old.

The Department of Health requests the People's Committees of districts and cities to coordinate with relevant departments, offices and units to notify families bringing children suspected of having cardiovascular diseases after screening and children suspected of having cardiovascular diseases in the area who have not been screened, to review and make a supplementary list according to the attached form and send it to the Department of Health and the Provincial Social Work Center and Children's Protection Fund before May 29, 2025.
