Khanh Hoa: Fire at 4-storey house at Ma Vong roundabout

On the evening of September 6, a 4-story house at Ma Vong roundabout, Tay Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province suddenly caught fire.

According to witnesses, at around 7 p.m. the same day, a fire broke out fiercely at a house specializing in selling door locks, tool accessories, hand scales, aluminum and iron... on Thai Nguyen Street.

At the scene, fire and black smoke billowed, and many loud explosions were heard.

The fire caused panic among passersby. The Ma Vong roundabout area was temporarily "paralyzed" due to the fire occurring at a time when there was a lot of traffic, and curious people gathered to watch.

Upon receiving the news, 1 ambulance, 4 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers were dispatched to the scene. The authorities quickly cordoned off the area, assisted in rescue and prevented the fire from spreading.

At nearly 8 p.m., specialized rescue vehicles of the Fire Police and Rescue Force were dispatched to support, and more officers and soldiers were mobilized.

Police used large water hoses to spray water directly into the house from many directions to control and prevent the fire from spreading. Currently, functional forces are coordinating to put out the fire, casualties and damage are unknown.
