Inauguration of the memorial house of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Monument Park and Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Party Central Committee member, Commander of Military Region 7; Comrade Nguyen Hong Linh, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission ; Comrade Pham Viet Thanh, Party Central Committee member, Secretary of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee.

The project has a total area of ​​over 1.8 hectares, a total investment of 440 billion VND and was started in early June 2024. Of which, the memorial house area has an area of ​​over 1.2 hectares, the rest is the park and monument area.

According to the leader of Long Dat District People's Committee, the project has an important meaning in propagating andeducating the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary struggle for all classes of people. The inauguration of the project aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

At the ceremony, Mr. Dang Minh Thong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, recalled the heroic days and the heroic and indomitable example of female martyr Vo Thi Sau. The leaders of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province affirmed that the project will be a red address for people, tourists and the young generation to visit and study.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, delegates offered incense at the memorial house of female hero and martyr Vo Thi Sau.
