Cargo ship cockpit burned down

In Nam Dinh, the cockpit of cargo train VNR D13E-722 caught fire while traveling through Lien Bao commune, Vu Ban district, on the afternoon of April 6th.

At approximately 2 PM, a fire broke out in the wheelhouse, with thick black smoke rising hundreds of meters into the air. Immediately afterward, staff made an emergency stop, separating the wheelhouse from the rest of the train to prevent damage to the cargo.

The Nam Dinh Provincial Police dispatched two fire trucks and dozens of officers to the scene. After about 45 minutes, the fire was extinguished. The interior of the driver's cabin was completely destroyed by the fire.

Another locomotive was dispatched to continue pulling the freight cars as planned.
