Commencement of construction of community sports field in An Binh village, Thanh An commune

In a series of activities to kick off Youth Month 2024, with the support of the Central Youth Union, this afternoon, March 1, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Secretariat of the Provincial Vietnam Youth Union organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the Community Sports Field project in An Binh village, Thanh An commune, Cam Lo district.

This community sports field project is lit by solar energy with items that meet the practical sports and entertainment needs of local people including: 1 mini soccer field; 1 sports and exercise area (2-step horizontal bar, cycling equipment, aerial walking equipment, 2-position hip shaking equipment, double shoulder and neck training equipment); green tree and flower paths. Total implementation cost 150 million VND.

This is a project to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26 (1931 - 2024); at the same time, promoting the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of young people in participating in meaningful projects and tasks, contributing to local socio-economic development.

This project will help children and local people have more places to play, have healthy activities and exercise.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Quoc Toan requested that in the coming time, Cam Lo District Youth Union and Thanh An Commune Youth Union coordinate with other units to implement the items to ensure progress and quality. In order for the project to be effective and meaningful, An Binh village is requested to have a good management and usage plan.
